I’m so thrilled I got to take some family pictures for my friends Stephanie and Josh! Our families don’t get to see each other nearly as often as we’d like, but they were able to stop by for a day as they were passing through Fort Wayne on their way home from vacation.
I met Stephanie on one of my first days in college, and she “adopted” my roommate and me since she was a sophomore and we needed all the help we could get. We actually met Josh before she did, and knew right away they were perfect for each other. Stephanie announced she was pregnant with Jackson right after I found out I was pregnant with Walter, so we got to be pregnant at the same time.
The sunflower field at Salomon Farm was in full bloom and a gorgeous setting for family pictures. Jackson liked seeing the tractor out there and running around on the paths. Toddlers are notoriously unpredictable, but this little guy did a great job, especially once we realized he was fascinated by the “click” of my camera’s shutter. We got so many great images, it was hard to pick my favorites to share here!
