This fall senior session was just gorgeous! The evening was chilly and a bit windy, but Elise did an excellent job and you can’t even tell the weather was less than ideal when you look at her final images.
Elise’s session took place on Halloween, after we had to reschedule from our original date, which put it a bit later in the season than I typically schedule sessions to get the best of Indiana’s fall color. But the leaves took their sweet time this past fall, so they were putting on their best show just in time for Elise’s senior portraits.
We started out at Metea County Park, which has great wooded scenery any time of year and worked especially well with the foliage of fall. Elise enjoys hiking, so we ventured on to the forest trails for some shots.
The second half of the session took place at Elise’s house, on her family’s property. They have wooded areas too, and a large pond (or small lake) behind the house. Elise wanted some portraits on her own trails because of all the great memories she has of growing up there.
A few of the family’s cats were wandering the property and wanted to join in. I’m always happy to include cats in your session!
I’m so glad I got to work with Elise to capture her sweet and friendly personality in these portraits for her, and I’m glad we got the weather and the fall color to cooperate. I’m wishing Elise all the best on the final months of her senior year as she heads towards graduation and beyond!
If you’re graduating this year and haven’t booked yourself a senior session yet, now is the time! Or, if you’re coming up on the end of your junior year, it’s not too early to think ahead. Send me a message and let me know you’re interested in a senior session, and I’ll send you all the info you need to start planning your own portrait session.
